Champion new to the last bolt and chip

From 1990 to the present Renault has made more than 15 million clio: it is one of the most important cars of the French giant.

At first glance, the new clio does not reveal that it is a 100% new car and that all of its parts are brand new, as it is not significantly different in size and appearance from its predecessor. If drawn, the more elegant lines are just an evolution of the clio 4 likeness, and it quickly becomes apparent in the cab or on the road that everything else is designed on the principle of technical (re) evolution. So digitally advanced, smart, quiet, drive-sovereign and spacious it has never been before. What's more: The car is 1.2 inches shorter than it was (405 cm in length and 258.3 cm in wheelbase), but has more space on and behind the rear bench. The boot basically offers 391 liters of space and is the largest in the class; It has a double bottom and, with the bench set - this is 40:60 split - offers a good cubic meter of space (1069 l). One of the new technical highlights is the CMF-B modular platform, which makes the 50 kg lighter, quieter, firmer and more aerodynamic car than its predecessor.


The road reveals complete progress

On the road, it quickly becomes clear that the clio is new to the last screw and chip. On the freeway and at higher speeds, it gives the impression of a bigger car due to better aerodynamics, better directional stability and sound sealing. It is more responsive between curves, holds the road well, and gives the driver a lot of confidence.

Above all, engineers have upgraded their driving performance with the help of safety systems. He got a radar system that, with the help of a camera, helps the driver actively drive in the speed range from 0 to 160 km / h. Clio is now capable of 2nd level autonomous driving, which means that it maintains its direction within the lane, controls blind spots and maintains an adequate safety distance while retarding to a complete stop. With active safety, however, he captured polo, fiesta, fabia…
The biggest novelty of the cli is the cab - modern digital and ergonomically much better than ever. The new steering wheel fits neatly into the hands and the driver's position is more adjustable. The dashboard, with its flexible digital gauges - with a 7- or 10-inch screen - is very modern and fits in with better plastic. There are several useful landfills. The large, upright screen of a multimedia device with Slovenian selectors stands out. With the multi-sense system, the driver can tailor the car's character to their mood - from meter settings to engine and steering responsiveness.
