Severe defects

Turbocharger. In the initial versions with petrol 0.9 TCe, there were individual cases of turbocharger failure before 50,000 km. Troubleshooting is arranged within the warranty repair. In general, the number of subject failures is very small.


Other errors and shortcomings

Loud chassis. A number of owners are complaining about the loud chassis, which is not necessarily the result of actual wear and tear on the elements.

Shock absorbers and springs. Frequent early failure of shock absorbers and spring fractures. The problem manifests itself as a clicking sound while driving, oil leaks from the shock absorbers, and blunt bumps while driving.

Body defects

Water intrusion into the interior - tailgate. Individual owners report poor sealing of the tailgate and consequent water intrusion. Deformation of the seals is most often to blame for the problem.

Front cover latch. Initial models encountered problems around the deficient front cover lock. The problem was resolved as part of the recall.


Interior faults

Shift lever. A larger number of owners report removing the gear lever from their seat, more often the inconvenience in question occurs in the winter.

Electronics faults

Radio / multimedia unit. For starters, there are common problems with radios that often turn off automatically. The problem is solved by reprogramming or replacing the unit.

ESP system. A growing number of owners are reporting problems with the ESP system. Reprogramming usually solves the problem.

Battery. According to the owners, the original batteries have a very short lifespan, as they usually need to be replaced before the age of 4.

R-Link multimedia interface. The R-link multimedia interface encounters many ‘bugs’ that show up as a black screen, unresponsiveness, slowness. Reprogramming usually solves the problem. In the worst case, it's just a change.

Headlights and lights. A large number of owners report problems with incorrect operation of headlights and lights, which manifests itself as the inability to switch between high beam and low beam, daytime running light and dipped beam re The problem is usually solved by reprogramming and or replacing the light switches.
